4. Remote & Digital Payments

This section has been added to the Cash & Credit Card Policy (Policy Code: XRS-PYMT-2026-C) to address payment disputes and mitigate the risk of fraudulent chargebacks for specialized ritual goods.
XRS Policy Addition: Chargeback Protection & Disputes
1. Dispute Resolution Requirement: To minimize administrative burdens, customers agree to contact XRS Customer Support at support@xangoritualstore.com to attempt a direct resolution before initiating a formal chargeback with their issuing bank.
2. Custom & Consecrated Items: For custom-made ritual tools or consecrated items (e.g., hand-carved wands or custom oil blends):
- Final Sale Acknowledgement: Customers must sign a digital or physical "Project Acceptance" form prior to shipping, acknowledging that the item meets the agreed-upon spiritual and physical specifications.
- Irreversibility: Once a ritual item has been used or the seal on a consecrated liquid is broken, it is ineligible for a "not as described" claim, and any chargeback initiated under this premise will be contested with the signed acceptance form as compelling evidence.
3. Defense Against Fraudulent Claims: Xango Ritual Store aggressively contests "Friendly Fraud" (legitimate purchases claimed as unauthorized). We provide the following to card issuers during disputes:
- Proof of Delivery: Certified tracking information and signature confirmation for high-value orders.
- Digital Footprint: IP addresses, order timestamps, and communication logs for all online transactions.
- Quality Logs: Photographic records taken by XRS staff immediately before the item was packaged to prove it was not defective upon shipment.
4. Recovery of Lost Funds: In the event of a reversed chargeback that XRS deems fraudulent, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend Services: Permanently ban the customer from all future purchases at XRS.
- Collection Actions: Refer the outstanding balance, including any bank-imposed chargeback fees (typically $25–$100), to a third-party collection agency.
